Kigoma Vijana Development Alliance (KIVIDEA) is a registered local NGO (Reg. No. 00NGO/R1/00390) based in Kigoma, Tanzania. Founded in 1999 and officially registered in 2000. KIVIDEA is dedicated to empowering young people and protecting vulnerable children through innovative, participatory, and solution-focused approaches.
To enhance community sustainable development through promotion of health, education, economy, gender and human rights, and the empowerment of children and youth.

KIVIDEA has a general members’ assembly and a Board of governance. The general assembly of members meets once every year for regular meetings, and anytime in extra-ordinary meetings. The Executive Director is the Secretary of the Board, composed of 5 members and elected in the general assembly for a 4-year term.
Board members are elected for their academic qualifications, personal integrity, experience and or commitment to the organization’s goals.
The Board is responsible for the general management of the organization and guarantees accountability and integrity in the organization.
The Board employs the other Executive Director, and approves the employment of all other executive staff upon proposition by the Executive Direc
Psychosocial support to MVCs: Counseling, scholastic materials, family support, training and mentoring to most vulnerable children and youth groups.
