STRENGTHENING YOUTH-FRIENDLY HEALTH SERVICES IN KIGOMA

At KIVIDEA, we believe that every young person deserves access to comprehensive and youth-friendly sexual & reproductive health services and rights (SRHR). Through targeted capacity-building sessions, we equip healthcare providers with the necessary skills and attitudes to support young people in a safe and stigma-free environment.

Our trainings emphasize the importance of positive provider attitudes (the Solution-Focused Approach – SFA), accessibility of contraceptives, HIV/STI testing, and breaking barriers that hinder youth from seeking care. Beyond the training, these providers actively engage in community outreach, school-based awareness programs, and youth-centered health festivals to ensure services reach those who need them the most.
