Legal and registration
KIVIDEA (Kigoma Vijana Development Alliance) is a Tanzanian NGO founded by young people in Kigoma in 1999. It registered under the Non-Governmental Organizations Act in 2018, with its mandate extended across Tanzania Mainland, and holds a ten-year registration certificate issued in October 2023.

KIVIDEA is governed by a seven-member Board of Directors, with management led by the Executive Director.
