Current problem: Leaking roofs, damaged ceilings, cracked floors, worn doors and windows, moisture and incomplete wiring are eroding buildings used for youth activities. Repairs will protect spaces already serving the community.
Proposed scope: Repair roof covering and ceiling components; make good floors, doors, windows, plaster and external bases; prepare and repaint surfaces; clean existing finishes; and improve wiring for the planned digital classroom. Final quantities and specifications require a site survey.
Donor value: A dry, secure and welcoming place for learning, meetings and recreation, while extending the useful life of earlier public and donor investment.
Budget and verification: TZS 30,476,880 (approximately CHF 8,964). This is an August 2026 planning value. An itemized quotation including VAT and contingency is available on request.
Implementation responsibilities: KIVIDEA will approve the surveyed scope and budget, procure and supervise qualified trades, protect ongoing centre use, inspect completed work and manage handover. The contractor will deliver repairs and rectify defects to the agreed specification.
Reporting commitment: KIVIDEA promises a letter of acknowledgement and official tax-exempt receipt of donation, and further proposes a completion report with dated before-and-after photographs, work and expenditure records, and a concise annual update on the building’s use.
