Current problem: The existing open court has a worn playing surface and limited protection for participants and spectators. The original playfield, supported by Hohle Gasse AG, is an established asset that needs an upgrade for supervised youth sport and community use.
Proposed scope: Install 516 m² of modular sports flooring; construct the covered tribune with foundations, roof and 15 benches, improve lighting on the court; and enclose the pitch.
Donor value: A safer, more usable place for teamwork, recreation and community gatherings, building on an existing youth facility.
Budget and verification: TZS 65,691,901.22 (approximately CHF 19,321), rounded from two quoted components: TZS 42,021,190.63 for the tribune and enclosure, and TZS 23,670,800 for flooring. Both figures include VAT.
Implementation responsibilities: KIVIDEA will approve the final design, safety plan and budget, procure the works, coordinate access and supervise acceptance. Qualified suppliers and builders will install the surface and structures, test safety and correct defects.
Reporting commitment: KIVIDEA promises a letter of acknowledgement and official tax-exempt receipt of donation, and further proposes a completion report with dated before-and-after photographs, work and expenditure records, and a concise annual update on supervised use of the facility.
